Q1: What are the main applications of the Mini series devices?  
A: The TY-MINI series of fanless mini PCs are designed as enterprise-grade, multifunctional networking hardware. They support operating systems such as OpenWrt, Ubuntu, and Windows, making them suitable for use as software routers, firewalls, network monitoring hosts, edge gateways, and virtualization servers for home or small business environments. Submodels DA/DB/DC/DD offer configurations with 4 network ports, multiple ports, and optional 10G SFP+ expansion, catering to various scenarios including home networks, small shops, and studio network upgrades.

Q2: Since the device uses passive cooling without fans, can it operate continuously 24/7?  
A: All models feature a passive heat-dissipating aluminum casing, enabling long-term continuous operation under normal ambient temperatures. It is recommended to place the unit in a well-ventilated area and avoid enclosed, confined enclosures. For high-load applications, we recommend selecting the high-performance DD01 or DD02 models to ensure sufficient thermal redundancy.

Q3: Do the network ports support 2.5G or 10G speeds?  
A: The DA and DB series primarily feature gigabit Ethernet ports. The DC02 and DD01 models include 10G SFP+ slots, allowing expansion to 10G fiber-optic networks and meeting demands for high-speed internal data transmission.

Q4: Does the hardware support hard drive expansion?  
A: The device includes reserved M.2 or SATA drive bays, enabling the addition of solid-state storage to meet requirements for log storage, virtual machines, and NAS auxiliary storage.

Q5: Can users reinstall the system themselves?  
A: The hardware is open, allowing users to install custom software router systems or Linux distributions independently. No pre-installed OS comes from the factory; however, system image and installation guide documentation are available upon request.
